A famous person

A famous person

Mother Teresa is one of the most respected person.
Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje*, Macedonia, on August 26**, 1910. Her family was of Albanian descent. At the age of twelve, she felt strongly the call of God. She knew she had to be a missionary to spread the love of Christ.
At the age of eighteen she left her parental home in Skopje and joined the Sisters of Loreto, an Irish community of nuns with missions in India.

On October 7, 1950, Mother Teresa received permission from the Holy See to start her own order, "The Missionaries of Charity", whose primary task was to love and care for those persons nobody was prepared to look after. In 1965 the Society became an International Religious Family by a decree of Pope Paul VI.
At 1963 she formed ' Missionaries of Charity Brothers' and this organiztion was authorized by the Vatican and became under its direct control.
At 1971 she was John 23th peace prize winner, and at 1979 she was Novel Peace Prize winner.
At October, 1995, she built adoption center in Washington, D.C and tried to solve illegitimate child and unmarried mother problem by adoption movement.
At September 5, 1997, she died.

Mother Teresa, who was awarded the 1979 Nobel Peace Prize, dedicated her life to the sick and hungry. Her simple message was "the poor must know that we love them". Her followers regarded her as a saint, but Mother Teresa believed she was only doing God's work. Amidst the poverty and slums of Calcutta, Mother Teresa's efforts provided shelter to thousands of the sick and dying, and ensured that thousands of children were cared for and given foster parents. More than two million sick, including nearly fifty thousand lepers, were treated by mobile dispensaries and special clinics. But for Mother Teresa, the Nobel Peace Prize was simply a gift to the poor.

Therefore I respect Mother teresa.
